May Gains
A choppy session ended with a late surge Friday as investors pushed some of the stronger companies of May and surging commodities prices drove another rally for materials companies.
For the Memorial Day shortened trading week, the NYSE jumped 3.70% while the NASDAQ outdueled gaining a healthy 4.87%.
Since 3/23/09, when the NLX NYSE turned Bullish, the NYSE has gained 15.78%.
Since 3/18/09, when the NLX NASDAQ turned Bullish, the NASDAQ has gained 18.99%.
