Stay Tuned

The NLX has the ability to clearly define its opinion of market direction.
How? It simply rides the underlying trend until it changes.
When it is wrong, we simply sell our position often for a small loss.

However, when it is right, it often rides monumental trends both on the up and downsides.

For example, the NLX NYSE signal changed to Bearish on 6/6/08.
The signal was clear, decisive, and unambiguous.

At that point, one could have decided to short, buy an inverse ETF, or simply step to the sidelines in cash. Whatever the choice, the NLX has been right as the NYSE has tanked over -20% since that Bearish point!

The NLX NASDAQ results have been just as good in 2008:
From 6/9/08 to 7/31/08, the NLX NASDAQ was Bearish while the NASDAQ sank -5.44%.
From 7/31/08 to 9/4/08, the NLX NASDAQ turned Bullish. However, on 9/4/08 it once again turned Bearish while recognizing miniscule -2.86% loss.  No big deal.
Since 9/4/08, the NLX NASDAQ has turned Bearish.
In the last 30 days since that point the NASDAQ has tumbled -13.80%!

When will the NLX turn Bullish again?  Stay tuned...
