It is also being launched after one of the most volatile market weeks in history.  This week, TWO major Wall Street investment houses have folded.  Merrill succumbed to market forces and conceded to Bank of America while Lehman was forced to shut their doors after over 100 years of service.

 

The goal of the research was a simple one: To develop a simple to understand mechanism for determining the underlying trend of the market.  Specifically for the NYSE and NASDAQ Composite.
